Well we are very overdue for an update! We have had 4 extremely wonderful foals this year. 2 Big solid black colts, one with 2 blue eyes! Turbo had an amazing Dark Bay filly and Dream had a perfect Bay Medicine Hat filly. We are delighted with their temperaments and they are already showing signs of being true performance horses. Turbo's filly Maddi has speed and a great slide stop! She will be amazing as a reiner or cutter!
We have moved! We found a wonderful place to move our stud to, now on 40 acres we are busily trying to fence and get everything ready for weaning time.
We hope everyone has a great Christmas and a very happy new year.
Thanks for reading.

The Chill in the air is growing some very nice winter coats on the horses. I think they will be well and truely ready for winter this year. Bellies are getting big and with only just over 2 months until the new foals start to arrive, we are getting very excited to see what this season brings.
Cadbury and Minnie Mee have begun their starting under saddle. Both of them have their first ride without incident and we look forward to getting some miles on them and gracing the show ring next year under saddle. Cougar has really thrown his excellent temperament to his babies and we can't be happier with how they are developing and handling their lives with humans.
June will bring some very cold and frosty mornings and will see what is left of the grass from this year brown off. The horses will soon have to be supplimented with grassy lucerne hay, and the mares in their last trimester will come in for feeding and supplimenting and refreshers on their ground work and manners.
We hope you all have a wonderful start to winter and your horses don't get too wild and woolley!

The 3 weanlings are getting very big indeed. All have great natures and are wonderful to handle.
The mares are getting big bellies already, and are looking fantastic. The rain we've had this year has made for great grazing and the girls are still not being supplimented for feed. Who'd have thought on 25 acres we'd not be feeding yet.
Only 4 months until the new babies start to arrive, can't wait to see what we get this year.

Well, all foals are growing very nicely. Boost is now weaned and ready to go to a new home. He is such a great boy, takes everything in his stride. He will be a fantastic family horse, loves attention and cuddles and loves people.
Dodge is a champion, he has his fathers sensitivity, and brains to boot. He learns so fast and the first one to meet you for a cuddle. Can't wait to do more with this boy, very tempted to keep him and let Cadbury go.....
Mr is also very smart, very quick on his feet as his breeding suggests he will be. This boy will rein and cut, but is so darn pretty like his mum.
All the boys this year are superb, I am so happy with what we are breeding, the foals have the best of their sire and dam and we can't complain about the colour! Can't wait for next year, with all tested in foal so far......
We've just had the most rain I've seen since moving here and the paddocks have all recovered well. We were flooded in for a few days, but the drainage in our place has worked very well. All dams are completely full and the grass is growing! The kids have had fun swimming in the dams, great to see all this water!
Christmas 2010 has been and gone and we can't wait to see what homes we get for these three boys shortly. Bring on 2011.

Well, this rain brings lovely growth to our paddocks. Not sure about the mud though!
We have an anxious wait for our two next foals, due 29th and 30th of this month, Colorite Secret Dream and Bonnie Lena (QH) are looking over being pregnant. Can't wait to see what they give us!
Keep a look out for our new arrivals, here's hoping for healthy happy mares and foals.

Well we are getting ready for our first mare to foal early August. Turbo has been moved into her foaling paddock to be monitored and spoiled a little before her new arrival.
Our fencing is complete and our new paddock stable is done. Minnie Mee and Cadbury are enjoying some warmth for now and will get some training and loving ready for spring and hopefully a few shows to end the year.
Winter is well and truely here, I think everyone has adjusted extremely well.
Thanks for reading.

We have finished all bar one paddock, which has one side to be completed. We are waiting on an erroneous roll of Electrobraid which has gone missing in transit! Once we get that, we will build a paddock stable in that paddock, which will allow show prep and training for the two weanlings. Once the house is completed, we will commence work on the stables in the barn and the vet crush.
Winter is nearly here, and we are all feeling it, with the current cold snap thickening up the horses coats. Looks like all horses have adapted to the colder weather down here, with no-one trying to come inside yet!
